2024 Mini Catalog and Sale-A-Bration, Cards, Coloring Designer Paper, Designer Series Paper, Detailed, Detailed Dogwood, Most Adored Specialty Paper

Did You Know You Can Change the Look of Designer Series Paper by Adding Ink?

I love the paper in the Most Adored Specialty Designer Series Paper that you can earn for FREE with a $50 order (before tax and shipping) during Sale-A-Bration! When making some cards with one of the pieces of the designer paper, I decided to add a little color to it to match the stamped and watercolored image I made for the front. I colored the flowers image from the Detailed Dogwood Stamp Set (available for FREE with a $100 order) with Bubble Bath and Granny Apple Green Inks. I wanted to see what the gold-embossed, white flowers and leaves would look like colored, so I used the matching Stampin’ Blends to color them. The card above on the left and the strip of paper underneath it were made without any coloring. The card on the right and the middle strip of paper were colored with only the Bubble Bath Ink. I colored the flowers and the leaves on the strip of paper to the right. I like the way the colored flowers and leaves turned out! What about you? Which is your favorite?

I have tried this technique before on designer paper that I didn’t really care for and I ended up liking them much better and was able to use them on cards. A couple of the different designer series papers in this pack could be changed by coloring in the embossed images giving you a lot more more variety since you receive two 12″ x 12″ papers of each design!
